1. Agreement to Terms
Welcome to Varaa Villa Mysore (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing our website, making an enquiry or reservation, or staying at our villa premises located in Bhogadi / Kergalli, Mysore, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services or confirm a booking.
2. Guest Eligibility & Identification
- The primary guest making the booking must be at least 18 years of age.
- In compliance with local government and police regulations, all adult guests must present a valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License) prior to or upon check-in. PAN cards are not accepted as valid identity proof.
- Standard villa occupancy is configured for 4 to 6 guests across 3 bedrooms. Maximum capacity must not exceed 6 guests without prior written authorization from the host.
- Bachelor-only male groups are strictly not permitted on the property. Families, couples, and verified mixed groups are welcome.
3. Check-In & Check-Out
- Check-in: 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM IST. Please notify us of your anticipated arrival time at least 2 hours in advance.
- Check-out: By 11:00 AM IST. Prompt departure is required to enable our cleaning team to prepare the villa for subsequent arrivals.
- Early check-in or late check-out requests are subject to villa calendar availability and may incur an additional charge if confirmed.
4. House Conduct & Community Guidelines
Varaa Villa is located in a quiet, upscale residential neighborhood in Mysore. To ensure tranquility for our neighbors and future guests, the following conduct standards apply:
- Noise Curfew: Loud music, DJ setups, outdoor speakers, and commercial parties are strictly prohibited. Quiet hours are observed between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
- Smoking: Smoking is strictly forbidden inside all interior spaces, bedrooms, bathrooms, and the pool enclosure. Smoking is permitted exclusively in designated open-air terrace or outdoor patio zones with proper ash disposal.
- Pets: Pets of any kind are strictly not allowed on the villa premises.
- Visitors: Unregistered day visitors are not permitted on the property without prior consent from the host.
5. Swimming Pool Safety & Usage
- The covered indoor pool is 100% private to your booked party during the duration of your stay.
- Proper swimwear must be worn inside the pool. Glassware, food, and sharp objects are strictly prohibited in and around the pool area.
- Diving, jumping, and rough play are not allowed due to safety regulations.
- Children under the age of 16 and non-swimmers must be actively supervised by a responsible adult at all times while in or near the pool area.
- Guests use the pool at their own risk. The owners and management of Varaa Villa assume no liability for accidents, injuries, or drownings resulting from negligence or failure to observe safety rules.
6. Property Care & Security Deposit
Guests are expected to treat the villa, architectural features, landscaping, interior furnishings, and appliances with utmost care:
- A refundable security deposit may be collected prior to or at check-in to cover potential damages, excessive deep-cleaning needs, or rule violations.
- The deposit is refunded upon check-out following a routine property inspection.
- Guests are financially liable for the replacement or repair cost of any broken items, stained linens/upholstery, or damaged fixtures during their stay.
7. Direct Bookings & Third-Party Channels
Direct reservations arranged via WhatsApp or our direct booking portal provide guaranteed best rates without platform commissions. If your reservation was booked through third-party platforms (such as Airbnb or MakeMyTrip), your booking is additionally subject to the respective platform’s terms of service and payment processing frameworks.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Varaa Villa and its owners shall not be held liable for:
- Loss, theft, or damage to any personal valuables, electronics, or vehicles brought onto the property.
- Intermittent disruptions to civic utilities (such as municipal power grid or external broadband lines) that occur beyond our control, although inverter power backup is provided for essential lighting and Wi-Fi.
- Events of force majeure, including severe weather, natural disasters, epidemics, or government travel restrictions.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to your reservation or stay at Varaa Villa shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Mysore, Karnataka.
